Josie Davis - Founder & Executive Director

Josie Davis is a dedicated leader, advocate, and retired U.S. Army veteran with 26 years of honorable military service. Throughout her military career, she demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership, mentorship, and supporting service members and their families, experiences that continue to guide her work in the nonprofit sector today.
As the Founder and Executive Director of Strong Bonds Community Care, Josie is committed to strengthening communities by connecting individuals and families with resources, support services, and opportunities for personal growth. Her vision for the organization is rooted in compassion, service, and the belief that strong communities are built through meaningful relationships and access to support.
Josie holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management. She is also a Certified Peer Support Specialist and has dedicated her post-military career to helping veterans, families, and underserved populations navigate life’s challenges and achieve their goals.
Through Strong Bonds Community Care, Josie leads initiatives focused on community outreach, veteran support, family assistance programs, educational resources, and partnerships that create lasting positive change. Her passion for service and advocacy continues to inspire volunteers, community partners, and those served by the organization.
